2.Refund Policy
At Rent Baazar, we work hard to make sure that our lessees have a smooth and fulfilling experience. We are aware, nonetheless, that there are circumstances in which a refund might be necessary. Our thorough refund policy is described in this paper, guaranteeing openness and understanding for every lessee.
2.1 Applicability of Refunds
Refunds are applicable in the following scenarios:
- Order Cancellation: If a lessee cancels an order before it is dispatched or delivered.
- Product Issues: If the product delivered is defective, damaged, or not as described.
- Early Termination of Contract: If a lessee chooses to end the rental agreement prematurely, subject to terms and conditions.
- Deposit Refund: Refund of the security deposit at the end of the rental tenure.
2.2 Order Cancellation
- Before Dispatch: Full refund of any advance payment or security deposit if the order is canceled before the product is dispatched.
- Lessees must inform us at least 12 hours before the scheduled delivery to avoid cancellation fees.
- After Dispatch/Delivery
- Orders canceled after dispatch but before delivery will incur a restocking fee of 1500 INR.
- For orders canceled after delivery, the refund will be processed as per the terms of early termination (see below).
2.3 Product Issues
Defective or Damaged Items:
- If a product is found to be defective or damaged upon delivery, the lessee must notify us within 12 Hours.
- We will arrange for a replacement or repair at no additional cost.
- If the issue cannot be resolved, a full refund will be provided, including delivery charges.
Incorrect Product Delivered:
- In the event of an incorrect item being delivered, lessees may opt for a replacement or a full refund.
- The incorrect product must be returned in the same condition as delivered.
2.4 Early Termination of Contract
Lessees who wish to terminate their rental agreement before the agreed tenure are eligible for a partial refund of the security deposit.
- Refund Amount Calculation
- Rental fees for the completed months will be deducted.
- A cancellation fee of 1 Month Rent may apply.
- Remaining balance from the security deposit will be refunded within 10 Days after product inspection.
2.5 Security Deposit Refund
The security deposit is refundable at the end of the rental period, provided the items are returned in acceptable condition.
Conditions for Full Refund:
- Items must be returned undamaged, with only normal wear and tear accepted.
- Lessees must notify us 10 days before returning the items to schedule a pick-up.
- Deductions from Deposit.
- Repair costs for damages beyond normal wear and tear.
- Replacement costs for missing parts or items.
Non-Refundable Scenarios:
Refunds will not be provided under the following circumstances:
- Lessee Negligence: Damage or loss caused by improper usage or negligence.
- Unauthorized Relocation: Moving the rented items to a different address without prior approval.
- Non-Compliance with Terms: Violating any terms of the rental agreement.
- Change of Mind: If a lessee decides not to use the product after delivery without valid reason.
2.6 Refund Request Process
Initiating a Refund Request

- Arrange for product inspection if necessary.
- Communicate the outcome of the inspection and the refund amount within 10 days.
2.8 Refund Approval
- Once the refund is approved, the lessee will receive confirmation via email or SMS.
- Refunds for valid claims will be processed as per the timeline below.
2.9 Refund Timeline and Methods
Timeline
- Refunds will be initiated within 10 days of approval.
- The exact time for the refund to reflect in the lessee’s account may vary depending on the payment method and bank processing times.
3 Refund Methods
Refunds will be processed using the original payment method, unless otherwise requested.
3.1 Payment modes include:
- Bank Transfer: Refunded to the lessee’s bank account upon submission of bank details.
3.2 Important Points to Note
Lessees are advised to read and understand the terms of the rental agreement before placing an order.

- Disputes regarding refunds will be resolved as per the company’s dispute resolution policy.
- This refund policy ensures that lessees are treated fairly and transparently while maintaining accountability for product care. By renting items or using our website, lessees agree to comply with these terms.
4. (Shipping) Delivery Process
4.1 Pre-Delivery Confirmation
- Lessees will receive a confirmation email or call detailing the delivery date, time, and items included
4.2 On-Site Delivery
- Our delivery team will deliver and, if applicable, assemble the rented items at the specified address.
- Lessees or an authorized representative must be present at the time of delivery to inspect and sign the delivery receipt.
4.3 Inspection and Acknowledgment
- Lessees are required to inspect the items for damage or defects at the time of delivery.
- Any issues must be reported immediately to the delivery team and noted on the delivery receipt.
5. Access and Setup
5.1 Access to Premises
- Lessees must ensure that the delivery location is accessible (e.g., no restrictions on entry, availability of elevators for high-rise buildings).
- Additional charges may apply for locations requiring special handling (e.g., difficult access or multi-floor setup without elevators).
5.2 Assembly and Installation
- Assembly or installation services are included for applicable products.
- Lessees are advised not to attempt self-assembly, as it may void the rental agreement.
6.Failed Delivery
6.1 Lessee Absence
- If the lessee or an authorized representative is unavailable at the agreed delivery time, a re-delivery fee may apply.
6.2 Incorrect Address
- Lessees must provide accurate delivery details.
- Deliveries to incorrect addresses provided by the lessee will be subject to re-delivery charges.
7.Ownership and Risk
- All items remain the property of Rent Baazar throughout the rental period.
- Risk of loss or damage passes to the lessee once the delivery is signed and accepted
8.Cancellations and Changes
8.1 Changes to Delivery
- Lessees may reschedule delivery by notifying us at least 24 hours in advance.
- Rescheduling is subject to item availability and delivery team schedules.
8.2 Delivery Cancellation
- Delivery cancellations made before dispatch are eligible for a full refund.
- Cancellations after dispatch may incur fees as per our refund policy.
9.Damage Policy
- It is acknowledged that the lessee will be responsible for covering any losses, thefts, or damage to the products. The lessee is responsible for paying the Lessor determined market price for goods that are irreparably damaged.
- In order to determine the level of damage, the Lessor or its agent must inspect all goods at the time of a damage complaint or, in the event of termination, upon pick-up. The pictures and quality control paperwork signed by the lessee or its representative at the time of delivery will be compared in order to make this conclusion.
Damage will encompass, but not be limited to:
There will be a fee for replacing upholstery if there are stains that cannot be removed by dry cleaning.
Wooden furniture that has dents or scratches that cause significant aesthetic or structural flaws, respectively.
The lessee will not be billed for damage brought on by manufacturing flaws.
If the upholstery is torn, there will be a fee for new upholstery.
